Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 Internet Download Speed Slow

Problem:
On a fresh installation of Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 and latest LAN drivers, internet download speeds and browsing are very very slow.

Solution:
Run the following in the cmd window:
netsh interface tcp set global ecncapability = disabled

    Thank you so much! this solved my problem with the download speed only going at 60 megs when i have 1gb up/down at my house - server 2012 r2 your the best.
